The aging of our skin

Every decade of your life holds different skin care needs. If you add these needs with the wear your skin receives daily from the outside world, you would know that you should provide special care for your skin.

20s
Good start
There are two secrets: the gentle care and prevention. You do not need wrinkle creams and throbbing or sharp scaling, as the refresh rate of your cells is now very good. Use a gentle cleansing gel or lotion and do not neglect the cleansing or the moisturizer with SPF, on the face, neck and décolleté. The night treatment with a hydrating cream will help if you have a problem of dryness. If your skin is sensitive and light, you may see some early signs of the sun or pollution, so include in your regime the antioxidant vitamins C and E and say 'yes' to green tea.

To sleep
If you do not sleep enough, you actually block the cellular renewal, where at night it is at its best. To camouflage the lack of sleep, throw cold water on your face in the morning. For extra sparkle, you can wet a cloth in cold milk and stretch it onto the face for 5 minutes. Finally, get a make-up preferably a cream color, with a good concealer.

30s
The first signs
From the beginning to the end of this decade, the skin is showing early signs of aging, depending of course on your lifestyle and your genes. Generally, however, the sun, stress and pollution affect the production of collagen and elastin, which give fertile ground to harmful free radicals that affect the uniformity of the skin. In these age groups, fine lines appear around the eyes and mouth and it is important to continue the antioxidant protection with anti-wrinkle action. You can combine cleaning with AHAs to gently exfoliate. The eye care is necessary and of course do not forget to hydrate with SPF. White and green tea, pomegranate, vitamin C, coenzyme Q10 and retinol (at night) are some of the key ingredients you need to enhance cell renewal and protect against infection.

At the office
The atmosphere at the office with closed windows and central heating can damage your skin. Relieve the antioxidant in serum, then a good soaking to lock the humidity or spray it with water spray during the day. If you sit next to a window, certainly you need a cream with SPF.

40s
Conscious protection
Statistically, what bothers most women in these age groups are more pronounce to wrinkles, loss of firmness, reduction of sparkle and mostly around the eye area. Now some discoloration will occur if exposure to the sun in previous years was strong, while the production of collagen and elastin is reduced, the skin retains less moisture and does not reflect much light. So apply a creamy cleanser, morning and night cream and boost treatment with serum or lotion with antioxidants or peptides to enhance collagen. For moisturizing prefer various oils or an anti-aging creams with micro-beads that improve overall appearance. This period will also need a special cream for your lips with anti-wrinkle and firming action.

For smokers
You already know that smoking causes biochemical changes in the body that accelerate aging. Nicotine prevents blood circulation, reduces oxygen to the skin and prevents the absorption of nutrients. It can also damage the collagen and elastin, creating free radicals and causing fine lines around the mouth and eyes. If you do not intend to quit, you should also enrich your diet with the antioxidant vitamins C and E that can control to some extent these consequences.

50s
Restructuring
Now more than ever, you should understand how fragile is our cells against solar radiation, oxidation by stress and infection. Add in the hormonal changes of our body and you will realize that the ability of physical rehabilitation of affected skin and the need for hydration and nutrition are great. Now you see the deepest wrinkles, spots in different places and pores more dilated, especially on the nose and cheeks. The dryness is another problem, so it's best to avoid cleansing with soap. For more advanced ages, say "yes" to oil treatment, and if you suffer from more intense dryness, put a little sweet almond oil directly to skin before going to sleep while doing massage to enhance circulation.

Menopause
When it comes, it brings with it many important changes and treatment. As estrogen levels fall, it changes the natural defenses of the skin, which is becoming thinner and less elastic, as reduced production of collagen and elastin. The skin is then reconstructed later as a result, wrinkles deepen and dryness becomes more frequent. Therefore, the skin is in need of restoration of density and reconstruction of the characteristics both on the outline and on the eyes and lips. Very important components in this phase are the peptides and vitamin C.
