Protect your hair from the sun, salt and chlorine
It seems impossible to prevent the damage caused to hair by the sun, salt and chlorine. A proposal is to wet our hair with tap water before we make a plunge into the sea. During the day at the beach we can apply a conditioner cream without rinsing it. However, the best approach is to use specific sun protectors that strengthen the physical defense of our hair and protects it from the oxidant action of the sun.

Tip of the day - Protect aged skin

The thinnest skin of our body is the skin on our face.
The older we get, the thinner it gets and thus the more susceptible to dryness and damage it gets.
Therefore, extra protection and moisture is required whether it is winter or summer so moisturize the skin several times a day with Karin Herzog Vita-A-Kombi 3 if you are over 30 or Karin Herzog Vita-A-Kombi 1 if you are under 30.

Regardless of age, there are some basic steps that treatment should follow on a daily basis to always have a healthy and beautiful skin. To fill our shelves with dozens of creams and skin care products does not guarantee that our skin is in good condition. Instead if we follow a daily schedule, morning and evening care, surely we are in a very good path to maintain our beautiful skin.
These are 5 basic and very important steps that must necessarily adhere to morning and evening. Never sleep with a dirty complexion. Even if you are not wearing make-up the first thing you should do every night before bed is to cleanse the skin. The pollutants in the air, the sweat sticking onto the skin, it is likely to gaze pimples and blackheads.
1. Cleansing
2. Stimulation
3. Hydration
4. Hydration for the delicate eye area
5. Sun protection (morning)
Each skin has its own needs. Whether it is wrinkles, dryness, acne, oily skin, it is important to choose the right cosmetics for your skin type and needs.
Do you treat your skin violently? Spread Karin Herzog products always gently to reduce oxygen loss.
Cleansing:
It is best to use a gentle cleansing lotion of good quality and should be accompanied by a gentle liquid or foam cleansing which is good for the eyes. Always wash your face with lukewarm water. Most emulsions are not allowed to come into contact with eyes. The area around the eyes is very sensitive; the skin is more delicate and needs special care. A good cleanser will be good enough for cleansing the eye area as well. It is ideal for the eye area and removes even the best waterproof mascara.
Recommended products: Karin Herzog Professional Cleansing, Karin Herzog Cleansing Milk
Stimulation:
The toner completes the cleansing lotion, brightens, revitalizes and soothes the skin removing residues from emulsion and dirt off the surface of the skin.
Recommended products: Karin Herzog Tonic Lotion
Hydration:
The skin after cleansing is in need of hydration and moisture to remain smooth and soft all day. It is very important in the morning to use a moisturizer with sun protection all year long, or a sunscreen lotion to spread over your moisturizer cream. Even in winter the sun damages the skin causing premature aging and stripes. The face is exposed all year long in sunlight. To prevent therefore the damage that may be caused by the sun, do not forget to use sunscreen every morning with your cream or a moisturizer with a high SPF. At night, a deep moisturizing cream depending on the type of your skin is the best.
Recommended products: Karin Herzog Day Protection, Karin Herzog Oxygen Face, Karin Herzog Vita-A-Kombi 1
Eye cream:
The area around the eyes is very delicate and prone to wrinkles, swelling, and dark circles. Choose a cream with more ingredients than what the anti-wrinkle moisturizing offers to protect and combat dark circles and puffiness under the eyes. Use morning and evening stretching it under the eyes and eyelids.
Recommended product: Karin Herzog Eye Cream
Basic daily care

Wash your hands with an antibacterial soap.
Apply the lotion in a circular motion gently massaging the skin.
Dampen a special little cotton, cleansing and removing the emulsion.

Dampen your face with lukewarm water, put some cleansing lotion on your fingers and massage in circular motions over the face creating foam.
Rinse thoroughly with plenty of lukewarm water.
Wipe the face with a clean towel or pat with a paper towel.

Ten tips to battle cellulite

Visit Natural Finesse to buy the Karin Herzog Dynamic Duo anti-cellulite kit!
Firstly, what is it and how it creates the unsightly "orange peel"; Cellulite is associated with fat accumulation in adipose tissue and the accumulation of water and toxins, causing the skin to show "wrinkles" and becomes known as "orange peel appearance”. It is a condition that affects even thin women and not just those with overweight or greater accumulation of fat in their bodies. The reasons vary.
Can the problem be the cause of a sedentary life, reduced movement and physical activity, heredity, impaired blood circulation, hormonal disorders, obesity or poor diet, smoking, frequent and high alcohol consumption, stress and constipation? If these habits are significantly reduced or completely eliminated, the skin becomes youthful in appearance and the problem is reduced considerably. However, factors that cannot be altered include our genetic characteristics, hormonal disorders and poor blood supply, contributing unfortunately, largely to the creation of cellulite.
Bad eating habits are largely responsible for the phenomenon of cellulite mainly related to the quality of food rather than the quantity consumed. It should be noted that repeated or deprived and unbalanced diets promote the development of cellulite. Diet for anti-cellulite does not exist, but there is one correct way of eating that helps prevent, improve and control the problem.
So here are the 10 tips against cellulite!
1. Avoid the misuse of animal fat, like pork, sausages and lamb. Prefer white meat like poultry and fish, cooked without much oil. An ideal way of cooking is olive oil, baked or boiled.
2. Avoid the abuse of caffeine and alcohol because they cause dehydration and difficulty to remove toxins. It is fine to consume one to two coffees a day and a glass of wine, preferably red. In any case, it is best if possible, to replace coffee with fruit juices and herbal teas such as chamomile, mountain tea or green tea.
3. Reduce high-fat sweets and soft drinks with sugar.
4. Avoid the abuse of salt or salt-rich foods such as dried cheese, salted nuts, sauces, canned meats and snack foods because salt contributes to water retention and hence the creation of cellulite . Finally, special attention is needed on the consumption of ready meals or "fast food" since in these foods the salt content is too high.
5. Put the systematic and gentle exercise into your life. Exercise stimulates blood circulation and stimulates the muscles, especially the thighs and buttocks. Daily walking at a high pace for twenty to thirty minutes or ten minutes a day on the stationary bike at home is enough to tighten muscles and help in treating cellulite and localized fat.
6. Drink plenty of water, one to two liters a day. The water hydrates the body and skin and allows the renewal of cellular fluid, thus facilitating the removal of toxins.
7. Put in your diet plenty of fruits and vegetables. It is necessary for good cell metabolism, the destruction of toxins and improvement of blood circulation, as well as the proper balance of body fluids.
8. Consume adequate amounts of legumes and whole grains. These foods are rich in amino acids (building blocks of proteins), fibers that protect and help treat constipation (cleansing agent for the creation of cellulite), and B vitamins, iron, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus.
9. Fight effectively with diet constipation. Good bowel function helps to eliminate toxins from the body. For this purpose, consume foods rich in fiber:
- Fruits such as plums, kiwis and citrus
- Vegetables like greens and steamed zucchini
- Legumes such as lentils and beans,
- Cereals such as rye, oats and bran
10. Make time for yourself, Combat stress and avoid smoking, which is also an important contributing factor, as it contributes to the creation of toxins affecting the state of the blood vessels and contributes to poor blood circulation. Find ways to relax from everyday stress and obligations e.g. a walk to the sea, a hobby or just a good sleep.
